Due to the current provincial health emergency situation, the way we deliver HELP services will look different, however we remain committed to assisting clients to access equipment safely. Please call ahead to be sure the depot is open for equipment loans. In order to maintain social distancing the doors to the HELP depots will be locked, and our teams will maintain the distance of 2 metres (6 ft) between themselves and others. It's a volunteer organization that gives out needs for the handicap and for the ailment free of charge. What else could you say about this organization? It's awesome!
Chris was great! Friendly, interesting and helpful.
They loan out medical equipment which is helpful, but the staff who came to pick equipment up from our house when we no longer needed it.. was very rude & abrasive. He marched into the house without being invited in, and then roughly took equipment apart, leaving scrapes and fairly deep gouges in the walls & doorframe. Not a good person to have representing the Red Cross! He was an older, grey haired man..and this occurred on the afternoon of May 22, 2024.
