first time I ever get a review on a restaurant this is quite possibly the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten could not finish meal ask for the manager he never showed up would not recommend to anyone unless you want to get sick

Some good and bad... – I have lived in Round Rock since 1984, and give every new restaurant a shot because I believe in supporting local businesses. Campo Azul's location has had some trouble (difficult access, poor visibility) ever since La Margarita moved (in the 90's). At least three other restaurants have failed (unfairly, IMO), so I decided yesterday to take the whole family there and give them a shot. Our experience did not start well. LOVED IT THERE – The food there was amazing...the tortillas are home made..all the food is authentic and the service is great!!! What more can I say...ohhh the margaritas ARE AWESOME! I recommend you go to Campo Azul and try it out...you won't regret it :o)
Drinks are a must!!! – The Margaritas were, to put it simply, awesome!! The food is in fact authentic, which was a pleasant surprise. It's new, so I'm anticipating it to just get better. The staff is extremely friendly and the service was wonderful! If you get desert try the chipotle chocolate cake! It’s a great night cap! I'll be going back again for drinks soon and from what I was told they're going to be hiring a mariachi band to play on weekends outside on their back patio....margaritas+mariachi band=good times!
the food is very authentic Mexican style . (very Rare nowadays with all the TEX MEX places around) . Good ambience, and I love the front and back patio( perfect for private parties. Overall a good place to hit anytime of the week.
Nothing special – Won't be going back.
Best Breakfast in Round Rock – Perfect way to start a rainy day. Hot and fresh tortillas, tacos and salsa to die for !!
