Camp Shane was absolutely so amazing! Wonderful bonds and a wonderful time. I'm so happy that I had the experience and would definitely go again if I could.
I have been a camper at camp Shane for 11 years and it has made me the better,self confident,outgoing person I am today. Camp Shane has changed me physically and mentally.it is my home away from home. I've lost over 50 pounds in the last 2 years I went and I am very happy with it. I've learned tips and exercises that I do back here at home and help me keep the weight off. It is such a great place, a place I will always return to.
I think the Arizona camp,counselors, food and activities were great. My son lost 14 pounds in two weeks. But he was miserable the whole time. The kids who had been there longer were already friends and he didn't feel he fit in. I think he was just homesick. But I think the camp overall delivered in what they promised.
My son attended Camp Shane NY this past summer (2016) and had an amazing summer. Besides losing over 50lbs he made some great friends and memories that will last a lifetime. The Staff at Camp Shane were fantastic along with the Nurse who needed to give my son weekly shots. All done without issue. Looking forward to the summer of 2017!
F this place. This place is hell i swear. I was supposed to stay there for 9 weeks and i wanted to come home the first week. This place is dumb asf the staff are way to pushy when ur uncomfortable to do something. Ruined my NY experience. Never will i ever come back
