Routine follow up. Doing great after 5 years of joint replacement.
Initial visit was due to a possible leg fracture and torn ligaments. X-ray was ordered and doctor told me he did not see a fracture but he ordered an MRI to have better information. He then called in order for pain pills and left. Did not tell me how to treat the injury. The office took 10 days to do MRI. Although the MRi showed a serious leg fracture among other leg injuries no one contacted me. I had to make several calls to locate a copy. Dr. Guzman is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. I had a total knee replacement 5 months ago. I had minimal bruising and pain due to his expert surgical skills. I fully recovered my range of motion, flexion and extension in a very short time. When I compare the ease and success of my recovery to my many friends and family who have had total knee replacements, I feel confident that I am the success story due to his expertise. I highly recommend Dr. Guzman.
Dr. GUZMAN is so nice and sympathetic! I hobbled into his office with both knees painful! I was given injections in each knee and today I was able to walk a few blocks without pain! I love Orthopedic Specialists of SWFL! They have helped with back and shoulder pain, too!
Very detailed oriented. He possesses a calm demeanor. Very thorough with his words. He made the surgery decision on less stressful.Would definitely recommend him.

This is the first time I ever heard, that a doctor would not see me without an X-ray. I refused to get the x-rays done, and I was told that the doctor would not even talk to me without an X-ray. I knew there would be nothing in the X-rays as it was a pinched nerve. And thats what he told me it was the moment he heard about my pain.
