I’ve been going to the SOFA Pain Clinic for many years, and my procedures have usually gone fairly well. The other day, I arrived feeling a little anxious about my treatment. I rarely review, but Dr. Shawver and his staff merit one. When you step through the doors to the surgical area, you are met with bright, shiny cleanliness you would expect from a surgical area. Jodi was the nurse who accompanied me, and she explained clearly what would happen in the procedure and spent time patiently answering all my questions. My primary care provider referred me to this clinic for treatment of a lower bulging disc causing severe pain. While I was open to treatment, I did not want to rely pain medications period, zero, none. The clinic recommended a LESI beginning therapy, and I am delighted with the positive outcome. The doctor was exceptionally kind and provided me with comprehensive explanations, effectively alleviating my anxiety and nervousness. His expertise and compassionate approach have made me very grateful for the referral. 10/10

I have been receiving OMT treatments from Dr Shawver for over two years. He is very knowledgeable in the human body, how it works and what it takes for it to feel better. Since seeing Dr Shawver I no longer have what I call back emergencies. OMT is the treatment that has worked for me with the skills that Dr Shawver possesses. Also I no longer take any pain medication.

I like to refer to the doctor as the wizard my hand was in excruciating pain and he fixed it kudos to the doctor highly recommended
