Camellia Tea Room (est. July 1995) is located in a beautifully restored 1897 building in downtown Benicia. Ivory tablecloths and fresh flowers on each table, tea served in individual teapots & an ornate ceiling featuring Bradbury & Bradbury Art Wallpapers, make for an elegant and relaxing atmosphere. In addition to afternoon tea, we serve lunch and desserts, and everything is made fresh daily in our kitchen. We offer more than 40 fine loose leaf teas.

Good ambience & nice decor !
Delightful, delicious and detailed in everything from decor to delectables of all sorts to eat. It ‘s a “special treat for friends and me to meet and chat while savoring all that is set before us. Wonderful assortment of items on the menu. Love trying new flavors of teas each time I go. Strolling First Street, stopping into the shops and Camellia Tea Room that’s a good day.
The scones are hard and dry, they serve whip cream instead of clotted cream, no options on finger sandwiches, it’s what they serve as a set . The petite fours was good but that’s store bought . They have choc chip cookies as part of the sweets which is not the norm.. 2 slices of almond cake , store bought and choice of tea .For $28 +tax is not worth it. I won’t be going back there again. Service was ok.

Went here for my sister's birthday a few years ago, and it was amazing! We all had a wonderful experience, the tea and food were superb!
My mom and I went here for Mother’s Day 2018. The service was exceptional, the food was amazing, and the tea was delicious. This is not just a meal, it is a dining experience. We will definitely be going back!
