Been here for 2.5 hours and they've not called even one person back to see a doctor. They've called them back for labs and such but not even one called back yet for anything else. A person could literally DIE waiting to see a doctor. Shuffling people around for blood work or labs does not constitute an actual shorter wait time, it only manipulates the numbers to make it look like a shorter wait time. Apparently, there are people that have been here for 7 hours. The inefficiency of this ER blows my mind.
The only bright spot was my mom's nurse in the ER Josh Perdue.
My mom recently went in for a heart cath. She stayed on the 3rd floor in the post cath section both the night before and the night after due to complications. The nurses were wonderful and very helpful! The only negative was that my mom's Rosary Beads were taken. She prayed with them at midnight and set them on her bedside table. When she woke in the morning they were gone. We searched her room with the nurses and never found them. They called linens and food services and still nothing. They should be ashamed to not have any better elevator service. Millions of dollars have been spent there and the elevators are horrible. Plus transporting patients in beds along with visitors in the same space. Absolutely crazy.
They have the worses nurse service ever. You can always hear them giggling and having a good time , but God for bid you hit the nurse button you sure cant get no service. Yep, Im still waiting pushed the button 38 minutes ago! Omg....she just walked in.....just met her 1 hour after shift change! Forgot to tell you that I was told that I was being admitted around 3 a.m. Just wanted everyone to know I got here at 1 a.m. Now it's 8:50 am. THE WORST ER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. 3RD WORLD COUNTRY SERVICE. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU CAN AVOID IT.
Dr. Brett Faulkner is a greate he replaced my leads in my pacemaker, he did a gret job......
I don't like the way my family member has been treated during his stay. No one will explain anything to him and he doesn't have anyone available to be here when the doctors come in to ask questions and get answers. His nurse yesterday and today hasn't been very nice at all.
