I have been taking my guinea pig and puppy to Dr. Vena for the past two years. When I first began fostering (and ultimately adopting) my puppy, she had significant health issues and was initially treated at a tertiary hospital. Dr. Vena helped rule out any underlying abnormalities that remained after her initial treatment, and was extremely diligent in answering any questions I had as a first-time puppy owner! They have outgrown their business. The owner prefers reptiles over other animals. It's nearly impossible to get an appointment when your pet is truly in need. They don't update their records often enough, and will continue to call you with appointment reminders even after your pet had to be euthanized at their office.
By far one of the best practices I’ve ever taken my animals to! When we first rescued these 5 girls at 3 weeks old, Cambria Vet was able to get them in for an appointment the next morning to make sure none of them were sick! All 5 were just spayed two weeks ago & Dr. Vena & Dr. Duman did an AMAZING job with all of them! called them Saturday cause my daughters dog was convulsing. said they couldn't fit him in and they would have the vet call us. No call was ever made to us and sunday night her dog passed away. This is the absolute worse vet service in johnstown. I am notifying the veterinary association to notify if my intention for legal action against this practice. you are an on call emergency vet you cant be "booked up"
I can not say enough good things about this office. They are always so helpful when my animals are not feeling well and then compassion they showed when my dog crossed the Rainbow Bridge was immeasurable. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
Highly recommend Cambria Veterinary Care. We needed to use them awhile ago after we had an emergency with one of our pets and our regular vet was unable to see him. We were so impressed with the way they cared for our cat, the caring staff there, and their fair prices that we have since used them for all of our veterinary needs. We recently lost our cat and they again impressed us with the level of compassion and support they provided to our family. We have been recommending them to all of our family and friends. ❤️

I take my rats to Dr. Vena. They've always squeezed us in when something comes up. Recently I found kittens under my mobile home, a friend was raising them, but one took a turn for the worse. I live in Bedford and we have 3 local vets (one of which my cats and dog go to), nobody would squeeze me in. So I called and Dr. Vena said to bring them right in. Kitties are actually staying there and will be fostered by Robert, who is also amazing. I'm always glad when he answers the phone!
