We had a refurbished room on the second floor of the Wild Rose section of the Lodge. It was quiet and comfortable. The grounds cover twenty five acres which make it feel more like a retreat than a hotel. The pool is lovely . The breakfast brunch buffet was tasty and hardy.
My mother and I came to Cambria to celebrate our birthday! My two sisters joined us. None of us have ever stayed here. We loved this place, it was absolutely beautiful.. My husband & family have a reservation for July & I can't wait to come back!!�
My friend and his fiancé had put a deposit down to have there wedding here. His fiancé has since been diagnosed with Breast Cancer and will be undergoing Chemo starting immediately. My friend Vito contacted this place and asked for a refund and explained the situation and took them a Dr. letter. They have denied them a refund. How heartless and without compassion can you be. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone�
I appreciate the convenience of having restaurant, lounge and night life in walking distance. However, the room was dirty, the furniture was old... cheap and uncomfortable, and you could literally hear everything your neighbors were doing. Skip this place... you can get an ocean view room in Pismo for less. I'll be sure to tell anyone that wants to hear. We had fun regardless, but that was more about the company than the location.
We had a great time as usual. Dinner was awesome. I had the pork chop with apples and my husband had the filet mignon. The gardens were beautiful.
