This is the second time I have stayed here in the last two months. Last month the check in was great and the guy behind the counter let us check in super early. He was so nice, yesterday bit of a different experience. The girl was short with me and spoke like a robot reciting the sign here policy, breakfast policy, etc. when we went to our room we weren't happy with the location due to a current event that was going to happen so we went back and intentionally avoided her and the other girl was very sweet and moved us to anot... read more
We've spent two anniversaries here. Beautiful surroundings! The staff is always friendly, polite and helpful. We will be back again.
Very enjoyable experience. Would recommend this to anyone who can do it would do it again under better conditions
Always enjoy our stay. Staff is so kind and professional. We also enjoyed the ghost who came and sat on the bed in our room this trip! See you next October!

We’ve stayed here many times and the lodge is charming, grounds are beautiful, the rooms and bathrooms are clean but many could use an update. Rooms do not have AC or ceiling fans, some windows are missing screens so it gets a bit stuffy or hot in warm weather. The restaurant food is inconsistent. It’s okay for a single night’s stay.
The room was nice enough but it was warm the weekend I was there and no AC. The grounds are lovely, the restaurant food very good and since we had a coupon it was a great deal.
We love staying at the lodge. We have been multiple times. The staff are usually very nice. The last time we stayed the young lady (Valeria) the was at the checkin counter was rude and told us in a hateful tone " come back at 3 to check in" Mind you it was 10 minutes until 3. I thought this was going to set the tone for the stay but it didn't. The rest of the staff were great as always. The room was clean and comfortable. The dinners were fantastic. The weather was great.
