So impressed with service delivery of all staff. So pleasant and professional. Big thanks to the admission Nurse (forgot her name) Paula, Paul, Zac (orderly) of the Recovery Ward) and Yothi and Louise who looked after me on Carey Ward. $470 for a stale cheese sandwich and no answers. I attended the Emergency Department today because my symptoms have significantly worsened. I have now been essentially bedridden for around three weeks and have been unable to work because of the severity of my symptoms. Two weeks ago I attended Lyell McEwin Hospital, where IIH and a CSF leak were raised as possible causes. I had gallbladder removal surgery here. I have been in and out of hospitals a few times and all I can say is this is by FAR the best hospital I have been to. The staff where amazing, all of them. Even when the wait was long to get into a bed, I was checked in on and given warm blankets while I waited. Not once did the nurses make me feel like I was annoying them when I needed to ring the bell for help woth something.
