Get directionsCalvary ER saved my mother's life in 2003. Good to see the standard is still so high. Attended yesterday for a worsening viral respiratory infection. So very glad I did. No wait. Over 6 hours received extraordinarily good and thorough care (lung x-ray, ECG, saline drip, oxygen, blood work, two different kinds of puffers). The cost is not trivial, but I knew I would get the best care, quickly, and if anything needed to be done it could be done there, no mucking about. You’d have to ask why this service has such abysmal ratings. Clearly, it’s well deserved. I went there, reluctantly, after a Consultant and my GP, urged me to, after seeing blood results. Worst ed department in Adelaide ever had terrible experience with drs nurses trying to treat my on going chronic back did nothing to fix it still charged me $533 not happy I was there early Sunday morning after work couldn’t barely move only decent service was ambulances service
Nurses were staff friendly afternoon shift was better we got my back pain under control the injections working 💪 super happy hopefully dont have any more flair ups i was bit slow to start off
No IV given, my wife clearly dehydrated. Asked emergency nurses a number of time are they doing an IV. Not given. Her vomit left in a bin for hours on her beside, overly bruised arms from numerous attempts to get canulars in. Pictures taken. Also verbally told if transferred to hospital by 2 staff all emergency costs transferred to private cover. Seriously my wife is out of it & is going to sign anything. She has been treated so much better at public hospitals. So you don't always get what you pay for.
