One of the worst property management companies in San Luis Obispo I worked with during a 6 year timespan with 2 kids attending CPSLO. We were "allowed / encouraged" to terminate a lease early without penalty after repeated complaints regarding 12 unaddressed City of San Luis Obispo code violations including exposed wire, plumbing issues with raw sewage, ant and cockroach infestation, and pervasive mold on walls and carpets. would give zero stars if possible. rude, don't fix non-urgent issues, wont respond to emails about security deposit after taking over half of it when we left the house in MUCH better shape than we received it. threatened to take even more when emailing about it. just overall would not recommend even to the most desperate ppl.
My family just left Cal West property management after 20+ years. We never realized how bad their service was until we experienced another property manager. If you are looking for a property manager in SLO, I would strongly encourage you to avoid Cal West at all costs.
