Lived here for almost 2 years noting but awful service , management simple don’t care . Had some ants problem manager told me to go to Home Depot and buy ant traps cause there is nothing they can do about it . Another time sink was draining slowly nothing major I made request nobody show up’s in morning and my son went to sleep and I don’t want them to wake him up so I called to reschedule was rudely refused manager that treat me to let them inside immediately or I’ll be responsible for damages just awful . Dealing with Balaciano is like trying to reason with a schoolyard bully. I'm quiet, clean, and always pay rent on time. Never had a problem with a landlord before. Here are just a few stories from ~1 year renting at a Balaciano property: - A vacant apartment caught fire and the building filled with smoke. You could smell it through an N95 mask. Renters beware!! After moving out of the Le Blanc apartments and not receiving my security deposit of over $2k back, I ushered along to Will Sediq at the Balaciano Group saying they would be the ones to help me with my balance. They not only are withholding my security deposit, but are trying to charge me additional money to clean, paint and change carpets in our unit. I lawfully broke my lease with Q Playa Apartments a couple of years ago due to ongoing stalking and safety threats. I submitted a valid police report, as required under California Civil Code § 1946.7, which allows tenants to break a lease early due to domestic violence or stalking. Despite this, management refused to honor the law and insisted I obtain a restraining order essentially making up their own rules and showing no concern for my safety.
