RecommendedExcellent way to spend an afternoon. We really enjoyed our time here. Had a nice lunch, watched a gun fight, browsed all the shops. Even had an ice cold draft from the local saloon. There were also all sorts of great photo ops.

Wow, it's been over 30 years since my sister and i have been! This trip included my 10 yo son. It was awesome to see the growth and more historic information than I remember. In speaking with a lady who worked there, she confirmed they did open up more of the historic buildings for guests to experience; the train ride was short but informative and nice, the waking mine tour, same. Plenty to walk around, see and do. Gold pan!! (Even if it's fools gold, it's fun!) The young man who helped Us was VERY knowledgeable and friendly... read more

Love this place!! the staff were really nice and helpful.. Highly recommend
The little town is very nice on a weekday, but looks like they really pack in there on the weekends. Restaurant was okay. Lemonade there was very good. Pretty views of the desert. We stayed in the RV campground where we had the most unlevel site we've had in 29 states. No way to get level without putting the tires off the ground so we "climbed" to the bedroom each night. All that desert to play in and dozens of kids played at the restrooms for two days - weird. The spaces are very tight so I guess they really couldn't hang o... read more
