We live locally, and are season pass holders. Our 5 year, and 7 year old grandsons enjoy their selves each time. Whether, it's just for lunch at the restaurant, a run up through to the top of town to get an ice cream cone, a real mine tour, panning for gold, browse through the Rock Shop, Print Shop, Leather and Wood Shops.. Plus more. The prices are reasonable, the restrooms are clean. They are pet friendly, and my Navy Corpsmen son, and other "Doc" buddies were very happy to walk around with their cold ale purchased there. ... read more

Cool place!!! Must stop and walk around! Very nice and lovely place!
It was a strange mix of actual old mining buildings and tourist shops. Was actually pretty neat and a great place for kids. Safe and interesting to the school history tours. It's actually a state park also. I was there during a weekday but was told they do cowboys reenactments on weekends. I got great photos.
Great 3 hours. With / without children. Please get it on your bucket list.
