SUCKS! If I could I would give this place a half a star! I went here because I was a bridesmaid for my best friends wedding. I had told the woman I wanted medium/caramal brown highlights (I have dark brown hair) well going there and her doing my hair, my hightlights turned out BLONDE! When I seen it I told her to tone it down, WAYYY to light for my hair, so she did but not much Then she flat ironed my hair, half assed it but then had to nerve to charge me more! Worst Experience! Stay Away!!! This is the worst salon I have ever visited in my life. The owner of the salon, Iris Gilbert, claims to know her profession AND âstyle,â but clearly she has no idea what a haircut is, let alone âstyle.â I was waiting to get another service done when she convinced me that I needed a haircut and that she was only going to shape my hair. Cali Nails is a great Place in Frederick to Pamper yourself; Famous for Awsome Pedicures! I went to Cali Nails after they had changed to Cali Spa and was pleasantly suprised!! They do Wonderful Pedicures and Manicures and even have hair services, permanent make-up services and perform facials!! I am saving up my money to get my eyebrows permanently tatooed on my face, that way I never have to use brow powder again. PROS: Friendly Staff who is there to please you!! CONS: They might rush you out the door if they are busy!!
be careful.. I moved to Frederick about a year ago. I friend wanted me to go with her because she stated she always got her nails done at this place. I wasn't very comfortable with the way it looked but I trusted her. I only went two times. I ended up with a bad case of "fingernail fungus". Cali Spa is dirty! Now I know why this so called "friend" said she only goes to one person. She knew something I didn't.
Stay Away We went to Cali spa based on a user review on google, to get a mani/pedicure before a wedding. The price was 35 dollars, which is comparable to other salons. The problem was the pedicure was simply a foot soak, a pumice stone to the heal and some nail polish. The toenails were not trimmed or filed, no base coat and only a second coat after I requested it. Don't waste your money at Cali Day Spa formally Cali Nails worst spa ever My husband got me a gift certificate to this place. The first day I did a manicure and pedicure. The lady was very sloppy and the tools she used on my feet was cleaned by dipping them into the water my feet were already in. My manicure was by the same girl also did a poor job.
