I worked at The Calcasieu Parish Coroner's Office from 2007 until 2012, when I resigned. I know for a fact that Dr. Welke and his investigator Charlie are the most upstanding people that anyone could ever want taking care of their loved ones. Dr. Welke demands respect for the deceased and treats people with respect. We, in Calcasieu Parish, and the surrounding parishes are very fortunate to have a well-educated, caring individual as our Coroner.
