Good selection, great meat dept, and it's never a long line to check out.

I do not like nor do i appreciate the. Way my wife has been treated as an emplyee at this establishment! She has been a loyal employee! But however mistreated written up, talked down on, unappreciated, by her. Deli Supervisor!!!!!I. Whom has her picks and chooses! And shows favortism among her emplyees! And is just not a fair supervisor! She sure makes her business to keep her pockets fat! My wife got $5 ad a bonus! Thanks for nothing!

Calandro's was my grocery store for 12 years!!! And I resided in Natchez, MS. We bought our meat and seafood, as well as wine and beer! Any specialty items were always found at Calandro's!! Their butcher was always helpful and knowledgeable!!!! When we moved away I HAD to be close to a family owned, specialty grocery store, like Calandro's!!!!!!!
I've brought my own bags to shop there, as I do every other store, and felt eyeballs all over me, so I never brought them again. I'm white, so I'm not sure about these accusations of racial profiling. Noting their always present security officer, it's evident that they cope with a lot of shoplifters and they have signage the large bags or backpacks are not allowed. Poor selections, rude to customers, unwillingness to help, attitude from everyone. Very disappointed.
