Lakers fan I was referred to Sam Kiasatpour by a colleague after an unsuccessful refinancing with my Credit Union. After $500 and 2 months wasted time I called him. In less than a month I got my refinance done and pulled a little bit of money out for a bathroom remodel and on top of that their rate was better than my Credit Union. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Thanks alot Sam & Chris.

I had a "difficult" loan, was turned down by Lending Tree and Quicken even though I had more than enough money to pay off the loan and my house is worth 5X the amount I was trying to borrow. Sam understand the vagaries of the loan business, and was there every step of the way, helping me along. Personalized service (which I didnt get from Quicken and Lending Tree). Have already recommended him to my brother.

I was surprised by lower fees and rate that was quoted – I am not the kind of person to write a review but in this instance I had to. When rates tanked a couple of months ago I got a call from Sam Kiasatpour the owner/broker of Cal Fed Mortgage. Apparently I had called him a year ago at the request of my CPA. At the time it didn't make much sense for me to refinance and Sam told me just the way it is and he put me on his data base and said he would call me when rates went down. Sam's the only guy I'll refi with – I've done five refi's with Sam Kiasatpour who is now at Cal Fed Mortgage over the past say 10-15 years or so. Each one has been the right decision at the right time. Sam is honest, he has integrity and you can trust what he says. How rare is that? I've had nothing but great experiences with Sam and choose only to work with him on refinancing my mortage...and one day when and if I can buy another home...I'll call Sam.
Refinance Success! – In the beginning of 2009 we started the process of refinancing our first and moving our second into a HELOC. After an unsuccessful 4 months with a broker I had used before I went to CalFed. Sam and Chris were great and worked with us every step of the way through close of both our loans. In this really tough environment CalFed successfully met all our expectations and then some. Highly recommend CalFed to anyone.
