Let me share this secret love I have for this place, Cakes to Die For. Toné Jackson got me hooked onto it a long time ago but it never gets old. Whenever I come to Frederick I make it a mission to stop by here and pick up some cookies�and when it’s cold a cup of coffee�. Today, I stopped in for cookies but they were sold out. A friend who is a fabulous baker told me your cookies were better than hers, so of course I had to try them. Best. Cookies. Ever. I thought mine were good, but yours are truly to die for! I will definitely return!
I ordered a dozen vegan cupcakes for my supervisor. I only gave them a day’s notice. I wasn’t even sure they could do it in such a short notice but they came through. My supervisor is the only vegan one so my coworkers and I were hesitant to try them. Oh my goodness! Thank God we did. These were hands down the best cupcakes we have ever tasted. I cannot recommend Cakes to Die For enough!!!!

I had been hearing good things about this bakery and went in with high expectations, and they were met 100%. The pumpkin roll was amazing!
OMG!!! The warm chocolate chip cookies ice cream sandwich was a totally amazing dessert! I think Paula Dean made those cookies they were so buttery! Very impressed with the variety and employees were very helpful and pleasant! Everyone should eat there at least once!
Been twice (maybe better time 2)... Both times I was ignored and than when I got home I discovered how stale the cup cakes were. Calling them didn't help either I wasn't going to say anything here but I'm not alone in disappointment. Seems the reviews here range from crappy to stellar. So I guess bipolar service and quality. I find it interesting that only one of the negative reviews got acknowledged by them. Oh well.
