Divorce is an evil institution. I believe to facilitate it, is to aid in the upheaval of society. Divorce leads to men killing themselves at 9X increased rate. That statistic alone is one of many many horrible statistics about the impact of divorce on people and especially on children, virtually no child comes out of a divorce without lasting emotional trauma and behavioral issues. I imagine most people going through the dissolution of a marriage (a) do not want to be in that position, (b) know very little about the process and what to expect, and (d) want it over as soon as possible. Jaimie Cairns and her team helped mediate the divorce of my ex and I. We both decided to proceed without legal representation and Jaimie was able to handle the mediation professionally and quickly.
