Did not wear nametags, wore civilian clothes and walked straight into my house which does still have a trapdoor installed under a rug. Only respond to actual officers of the law and police. If they try to forcibly remove you, tell them politely they need a warrant or actual athority/papers to do so. Too dangerous of a situation - accidents can happen, thats why we have officer training and correct supplies to handle dangerous situations. Bad allround. What do they do exactly? My neighbor has had them called many times during the 7 years of living here. He is gotbsome kind of mental illness that causes him to believe conspiracy theories. They always come, in fact are here now, going on 2 hours and don't do anything. Then they leave and he's yelling at no one, and if you walk by him, you are threatened or worse. CAHOOTS seems to rest entirely on the reputation they've curated over the past few decades of being a humane alternative to the police, despite working "in cahoots" with the police department. I observed CAHOOTS mediators, during a domestic dispute home visit, making excuses for the aggressor and telling the target to take responsibility for his violent rage outbursts by asking him nicely to rage outside instead of inside the home.
