Very prompt and attentive to our repair needs.
John was very accomodating, professional, timely, and neat in his work. He installed a new thermostat for me, plus looked at 2 outside light fixtures with which we'd had trouble. He checked the fixtures and power source, then gave me recommendations on how to preserve one unit, plus texted me later with a recommendation for a good outdoor dusk to dawn lighting option to provide increased security for my home. I would certainly would recommend him & I plan to use him again.
John helped us with an issue we were having with our hard-wired smoke alarms. He was super responsive and willing to make time in his schedule to fit us in on very short notice. He arrived on time, and he resolved our issue quickly and efficiently. If you are looking for an honest and reliable electrician, you should definitely consider Cahalane!

John replaced a kitchen ceiling fixture in an SF flat that I own. The installation was a little tricky, since the old fixture was suspended from a gas pipe and had no mounting plate. He did an excellent job, drove around town until he found the necessary spacers, and charged a very fair price. I highly recommend him.
