THE BEST – I had lunch with friends here back in April of 2004, and it was the most pleasant dining experience I ever had!! First, you must be chic & stylish to even appreciate it. The Highlight of Miami – Azul is an amazing restaurant. We got a chance to enjoy the $20 pre-fix lunch menu before heading back to San Francisco. This is definitely a steal for everything you get. It was exquisite food, excellent service and wonderful views of the harbor. Living in the SF Bay Area, we've experienced many different types of fusion restaurants this is one of the best ones I've been to. My compliments to Chef Michelle Bernstein for the innovative and exquisite menu.
Island Paradise! – Cafe Sambal should be much higher on your list. The ambiance is sophisticated and international like that of Tantra. The quality and presentation of the menu is excellent, better than everyplace else on the list. Personally, I love Brickell Key and I'm long over South Beach. Brickell Key is a fantastic hidden gem in the middle of the urban jungle! Better parking, easily accessible, no traffic snarls over the causeways. VIEW OF MIAMI SKYSCRAPERS – IT WAS A DELIGHTFUL EXPERIENCE FOR ME AND MY GROUP DINING/ CELEBRATING A FRIEND'S BIRTHDAY YESTERDAY NOON AT CAFE SAMBAL. I ALWAYS STAYED BEFORE IN SOUTH BEACH, BUT NOW ON, I HAVE A BRICKELL KEY HIDE AWAY. I LOVE ORIENTAL -PAN ASIAN FOOD...AND CAFE SAMBAL HAS THE "IT" OF EVERYTHING I WANT.
