Traveling on business from Chicago a great quiet homey place just what we needed after a long day. The service was fantastic. Bartender/owner knew all about the wine we ordered. Where it came from, the grapes and the finish. Very friendly, beautifully and tastefully decorated. Not just the main decor but the holiday decorations as well. Food was phenomenal. Went for a birthday dinner. I ordered a grilled tomato salad (with NO ONION!!) and a burger to go as I had my son. I asked for let/tom on burger but (my fault) didn't check. Got home to a plain burger and MAYBE a dozen fries. And I know this may not be your typical family restaurant but they had no changin tables in bathroom. So I paid $28 for a salad I barely ate because of all the onion and a mediocre burger. Won't return.
Enjoyable food and good wait staff, no complaints, would come back again and suggest to others.
I do not like eating raw hamburger meat! It wasn't even warm!
