used to love this place. they are slowly cheapening the food so much it's getting more and more gross. its at a breaking point. i had to leave a review.
Walked in to find 5 staff members playing on their phones. Every single one of them made eye contact with us and chose to do nothing. No greeting, no acknowledgment, not even a basic nod. We stood there like ghosts for a full 5 minutes before someone finally dragged themselves over to take our order. And it only got worse. I had a really frustrating experience at Cafe Rio. I placed a to-go order, but when I arrived, no one acknowledged me at the pickup area. I stood there for a long time while employees walked by without checking on customers waiting for orders. It ended up taking way longer than it should have just to receive food that was already supposed to be ready.
