!!Avoid this location!! Cafe Rio is my favorite place to eat, but this location is the absolute worst. Staff is rude and they do not care about you. It was a completely empty restaurant and they didn’t greet me or my wife. Both of us said “thank you” multiple times and no one responded with “you’re welcome”. They seemed like they hated their job, and us. When we got our food, EVERY single table was dirty so I had to clean it off myself. I didn’t thin you could ruin a burrito so badly, the kid didn’t pay attention to what I ordered, it was terrible, the place was dirty and they had no napkins….other locations I’ve been to have been a whole different experience
Unfortunately, this Costa Vida location on Franklin is going to get itself in trouble from a food safety perspective. Most of the food prep areas were very unsanitary and did not appear safe to be serving food. No real surprise because the rest of the restaurant was the same (overflowing trash cans, dirty drink serving area, garbage on the ground, tables covered in trash, etc. with only 1-2 small groups in the restaurant) Saw one of the workers take a tortilla off the ground and cut a smiley face in the tortilla with his fin... read more
