The Prytania Bar is the best thang goin' in Uptown, and it all goes back to Pete. He runs a great bar, one that is a REAL bar with great folks from the neighborhood and afar. He also is a kind man, some may even say gentle. He also knows karate, but the secret kind, the kind where you only have to use your mind. Pete has also surrounded himself with great co-workers. Great NOLA bar! Worth a visit. Ignore the politically-motivated one-star reviews.
One of my favorite bars in New Orleans. Solid beer selection, sick jukebox, and killer beards. Don't go here if you're not into good times. 13/10 would go right now if it wasn't a plane ride away
