Best Breakfast! I've been to Cafe on Park many times, although only for breakfast. The pancakes are the best I've ever had and absolutely huge! Be sure to come hungry. There is also almost always a wait on the weekends, unless you can get there right when they open. But even if you do have to wait, it is well worth it. I do think it is a bit on the pricey side though, especially for breakfast, but again, the taste makes it worth it.
Worth the wait! I'm a native and I love love love this place! It's where I take family and friends who are visiting... Pancakes the size of your face, delicious omelletes, very fast service.. and my coffee cup is never empty. It's very colorful and artsy on the inside, and they do serve alcohol in case you want a bloody mary in the morning and in a tall mason jar. I hope you take this advice and check it out! Careful on weekends.. it gets super busy in the mornings.
Great breakfasts I love the breakfasts here. All of the dishes are wonderful (at least the ones I've tried) and the service is very good as well, though be prepared to wait as it frequently gets really busy.
Get your money's worth!! Great food, large breakfast plates, good variety, reasonable prices. Sometimes there's a wait for a table on weekends. Counter seats available if tables are taken.
Fantabulous breakfasts, enormous sizes! We have had the pleasure of dining at Cafe on Park many times, ordering different menu items each time, and have loved each and every visit. Their breakfasts are not only delicious, but original in composition and immense in size. If you go on a weekend, expect a wait, but DO wait! You will be so happy that you did! The prices are moderate and the quality outstanding. Cafe on Park is one of our favorites!

Great place I will definitely be back
We had breakfast on two different days. This time, I had a scramble with tomato, avocado, bacon and cheddar cheese-so good! My husband had their delicious French toast. The service staff is attentive without being pushy. A real go to place that I will return to on my next visit to San Diego.
If you are looking for a tasty place, it is where you are kindly attended with elegance and with a great breakfast. I recommend coffe on park a little bit of the history of San Diego since it has many years in the area.
