Our waitresses Emily was wonderful she provided great service. The drinks were also great but the food is why I can only give the cafe 3 stars.
We loved the margarita do the 60oz it's fabulous and feed the birds ur leftover chips�
Granted, my Brother & I went to watch OSU V COL. Bowl game, fairly busy on Riverwalk... good queso & salsa, chicken fajitas were better than beef, but NO ALCOHOL Margarita! 😩 We realized it after we had 2 pitchers between the 2 of us with absolutely no buzz whatsoever! Very 😞! I wish there was a device you could put in a drink that would indicate if alcohol was present.
Only because my bf purpose to me yesterday here other then that food s gross n had to wait more then two hours to get seated..But yes I will always remember this place cause now I got a fiance and yesterday was my daughter's birthday dinner as well..
Lived in SA for 3 years now. Only been to the river walk a handful of times. We came 12/23/16 for drinks and date night. We landed at Cafe Ole for margaritas and a late night snack. We were seated with no wait... but then we waited for 15 minutes with no staff acknowledging us. Finally we flagged down a waitress (Victoria T). Who looked puzzled as we were not in her assigned section. She apologized for the regular server not coming by, she took our order and, promptly returned with water for us. Served hot even the salsa was warm. Service was quick, consistent mongering drinks and filling them promptly. Entertaining musicians of Spanish music,excellent experience!
