Cosmopolitan does not even begin to describe the atmosphere at this Georgetown café. The cuisine at Cafe Milano is mainly northern Italian fare. The salads are a big sell. Individual pizzas are also popular. After dinner, the crowd spills out into the dining area, transforming the atmosphere of the cafe into a cocktail hour. So come by to wine and dine in true Italian style!

Elegant and upscale. What a great dining experience! The atmosphere is elegant and subtle. Great lighting and good art. The service is always amazing. The bread and olive oil were actually authentic Italian, not the Americanized versions you often find. The mixed seafood pasta in a red sauce was perfect. the wine is amazing. The pace is peaceful. I love having a nice romantic evening here.
Offensively Overpriced Cafe Milano is always packed with well-heeled, middle-aged Georgetowners, so I made a point of having dinner there one night. When I saw the high prices on the menu, I was not put off -- rather, I was excited to have a superb Italian meal. (The wine list is similarly expensive -- you feel like a cheapskate ordering an $80 bottle.) But as I left, I was looking at my receipt and started putting it all together. I became infuriated that I spent so much on such mediocre food and wine. It wasn't bad, but fo... read more
Not bad but I won’t go back
Best Italian
Authentic, delicious food ,for special occasions this is the right place for dinner..
Amazing food with an authentic Italian staff. The food and wine list is superb.
I can forget the la scala pizza and Iceberg Spagetti.
Nothing is good here. The Carpaccio is supposed to be raw and was cooked and with a horrible taste of tuna (like canned tuna). I ordered veal chop and was over cooked and unsalted.
Absolutely nothing is good here. This establishment is bigoted and disgusting. The food is also horrible.
