Bad Food with good service and fair price – We arrived late at Hotel and decided to have something to eat. We order 4 dishes of appentizer for some late ight dinner. The service was good, however, the food is bed. Frist the old they used to deep fry the the food is old and black. It make all fried food so black and discusting. Great Breakfast food! – We found this resutrant by chance in Union Square and loved the food. We were looking for a great sit down breakfast place and this seemed to be the only one as tourists we could find that wasn't a bagel shop. The menu offered a great variety of food choices. for tourists – The breakfast food was overpriced and boring. Plain wheat sandwich bread for french toast in San Francisco? Was I at Dennys? Great Place – Don't listen to the bad reviews here. This place is a cafe, however it's contemporary, so you won't find boring cafe food hear. Thought was actually made when the menu was created offering a wide range of choices no matter what time of day you choose to go. I went for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. With so many choices in SF – Keep looking... this place was so... "blah" it pretty much is just a diner and if you like diners I would recommend Lori's or Mel's over this place. The service was unfriendly, server wanted to argue with me over the fact that the Credit Card machine still printed out the ENTIRE numbers!! For the what they charge you I expected the items to at least have some sort of flavor.
Great Breakfast – We had a very good breakfast at Cafe Mason. The cheese blintzes were excellent: two tender blintzes with blueberry compote and a huge pile of fresh fruit. Great hot chocolate too!
