Disappointing. My wife and I visited this restaurant 2 years ago and were very much looking forward to returning. Although the service was very good. To be totally truthful, the food was below average. My meal (lobster, shrimp, bacon “BLT” scampi) was bland. The presentation was nice. But the lobster was tough, the linguini was gummy, and there was very little flavor throughout the entire dish. Meanwhile my wife’s scallops were a bit sandy. Place is great!! From the hostess - very sweet and personable. To our server Amy, who made our experience amazing. Great suggestions, felt like we knew her for some time. The food was great, the flavor combos were different and unique. I will say a few dishes were lacking a little salt for our liking, but delicious none the less. Desserts we had two amazing gluten free desserts and a macadamia type pie. The pie I got was not that great compared to the others. Again, just my opinion. Great find! We usually go to Steve and Cookies when visiting the OC are but wanted to try something new this time around. We were so glad we did. The food was absolutely delicious, our service was wonderful and full of personality and the atmosphere was very warm and inviting. This will definitely be our new spot whenever we are in the area.
