I was looking forward to having dinner here... brought my parents down from Margate... the filet was burnt on the outside .. my wahoo was dry.. both meals went back ... of course by the time the entrees were made again and brought back our significant others had finished their entrees... the cut of meat was below par and the wahoo was still dry. We left disappointed with the promise of not returning ... I was most disappointed in the restaurant for not even offering us a cappuccino for our disappointment
Cafe Loren is our go to spot for all of our special meals together with family and friends. Everyone is treated to a fantastic meal provided by a top notch personable staff and treated like family. Please do yourself a favor and visit our friends at the restraunt, you will never be disappointed. Thank you Josh, Lauren and Ryan for making every visit better than the last. Customer for life. We go here as a family at least 3 times a year. Our other family member go more often. We love the food preparation. However I have some suggestions. I would like to see a few more specials. The menu is static and this restaurant doesn’t need them for business but it would be nice for repeat customers. Also I had the scallops recently. They were perfect. This restaurant is totally top notch. We have had wonderful meals and great experiences over the years. We think Cafe Loren adds a major touch of refinement to the Avalon summer scene. Our summers wouldn't be complete if we didn't have a few special dinners here. A "must do" when we have guests and, always, on our anniversary. Thank you Cafe Loren!
Went there years ago and finally had a chance to go again. Everything was wonderful. Great service, very delicious food, nice environment. Highly recommend! Still as lovely and delicious as the last time I was there!
