Great Improvement - New Cheff! – I am a regular customer of this nice Cuban spot in center city, and I just find out few weeks ago that a new hispanic cheff came in. He have been changing specials, making hispanic brunch on weekends, and doing a great job improving quality and appearence of the plates. On top of that, almost every thursday they're having life music, such as Jazz, Cuban Son, Flamenco, which gives a very special ambience for a romantic dinner or just to enjoy life a bit. Go to this place promptly and see what ... read more

Fantastic Latin Brunch – We took our 2 yr old son, sat at the bar and had an amazing brunch. Their arepas with cheese, eggs & beans is outstanding as is the Tortilla Espanola. Alfredo the bar tender has got to be one of the nicest people around and makes a killer cafe con leche. Prices are reasonable and the chefs will come out and say hello.

A Center City Gem! – This is what Cuban food was meant to be! I visited last night with my husband and the owner was so hospitable and accommodating that we were so pleased we discovered Cafe Habana. The food is very good and an excellent value for the money. The place is relaxed, charming and far from the pretentious Cuban restaurants you find in the city. A true find!

CPK – Traveling abroad if only for a few hours or so. For those interested in experiencing heart pounding, sweat inducing, erotic, yet sophisticated Latin dancing at its finest, look no further. Unlike any other dance venues in the City, Juan Carlos has transported the tastes, sounds and excitement of Havana (& Latin America) to a quiet, unimposing street in Philadelphia. On Saturday evenings, this relaxed, yet refined Cuban lounge quietly transforms into an intimate courtyard where the traditional dance arts of Salsa and Me... read more

BEST CUBAN IN PHILLY! – I recently went to Cafe Habana on a whim. It had been over a year since I had had dinner there, and I had just had dinner at Cuba Libre. So, great op to compare cuban experiences, right? Well, Cafe Habana is better than ever. The fish was fresh and steamed to a flaky perfection and topped with a sauce so unique I think you can only get it in Cuba! The mohitos are the best in town, and the host and owner, Juan Carlos Fernandez, is both engaging and professional. With its funky atmosphere and fine servi... read more

THE BEST – I WAS IN CAFE HABANA LAST WEEK AND I HAD A GREAT TIME. I HAVE BEEN IN MANY CUBAN RESTAURANTS IN THE CITY AND I CAN SAY THAT CAFE HABANA WAS THE ONLY ONE WITH A TRADITIONAL CUBAN CUSINE, AND SPANISH SERVERS.

Love it! – Cafe Habana has a very homely feel to it, the food is excellent, comes in generous helpings and does not burn a hole in your pocket and the mojitos, sangrias and capirinhas are mixed to perfection. I strongly recommend the Sunday brunch. Excellent addition to Rittenhouse square.

Fabulous food & drink – First of all, order a mojito when you get there. You'll keep drinking them, trust me. Then order the grilled calamari & octopus as an appetizer, which is perfectly cooked and absolutley delicious. All of our dinner entrees were wonderful! For dessert, they offer three different kinds of flan, in addition to other delicacies....I had something that was so wonderful, though I can't even recall what it was called...it had cinnamon on top and was sort of like a custard. I enjoyed dinner so much that I tri... read more
