Wait staff and food was excellent. Whenever I am in the area again I look forward to trying other items in the menu. I had the black bean burger and it was very tasty!

Most people think health food, and think meh, not the tastiest. Wrong! At least at Cafe Gratitude. This Santa Cruz institution has a wide array of organic veggie, vegan, macrobiotic and raw dishes that will make even the foodiest omnivore happy. Order up a fresh wheatgrass shot or ginger tonic to go with your macrobiotic bowl or kale salad and walk out feeling refreshed. My only disappointment ever was the flax "nachos." Which really aren't bad! They're just not crunchy! Or salty. Or nachos. Other than this dish though, ever... read more
