Beignets and frozen cafe au lait are a must of new Orleans, try and avoid peak times though as there will be massive lines
If you want a table go straight in and look for one! Servers just take orders. Takeout you do need to be on line.
Love their Beignets! the best ones !!!!! I wouldnt found this place if was for this app call Service Empire, is really cool have a personal assistant and must for free !

The best cafe in the French district. The beignets are absolutely amazing. Moist and warm, the coffee was also good. Very busy and crowded place so be patient!
We learned that there is absolutely no reason to stand in line. Just walk on past the masses if you spot a table with no one at it or want to get it to go. The servers will come clean up and serve you
The best beignets I almost ever had! Totally worth the line!
