I agree that it probably deserves a visit because it's a historic place,nicely located,and the beignet are good.But... the café au lait is average, the staff is rude, and they don't accept credit card
A staple. And it's delicious.
The beignets 🍩 are pretty good and fresh but the coffee is simply bad. Not really worth all the hype around it.. Get there before 9am to avoid the crazy lines.

Best Cafe au lait I've had in New Orleans! Holy powdered sugar overload!! The beignets were like something from the carnival fair. Fluffy, and delicious!
