We offer California Mexican style cuisine. Meaning that we are not your typical "authentic" mexican fare. We pride our selves in our food. We prepare it Fresh twice daily. Nothing is Pre-prepared. Cooking everything without any extra animal fat, using only chicken breast meat and 100% certified angus beef.

YOU'LL BE TRULY AMAZED! THIS CAL-MEX FOOD IS UNBELIEVABLY DELICIOUS! – This is the kind of Mexican food I had been searching and longing for since I left California in the 80's! Lovely Atmosphere, Great Food Beautifully Presented – Don't expect the typical Tex-Mex entrees that are all the same flavors in different shapes crammed against a pool of tasteless fried bean paste! #1 Mexican Restaurant – We're new to the area and have been looking for a good Mexican restaurant...this is it! We went on a Wednesday night, and although they were busy, we were seated promplty. The menu is not your typical Mexican food. They take the standard dish and liven it up with their own unique flavoring. I had a tostada and my husband had a burrito. Yummy!!!!! – Excellent food at a reasonable price! The rice and black beans are fabulous! Prompt seating and very friendly wait staff! My sister loved her vegan Mexican salad! I can't wait to go back to try something different on the menu!
Wonderful fresh Mexican fare! – Wow. We went to Cafe Capistrano last night for the first time and were so impressed! We all got different menu items ... and none of us were disappointed! It was so yummy ... and a TON of food for the price we paid. And definitely try the queso dip -- it was outstanding! We will definitely eat here again soon!

West meets East, with Mexi-Cali food, a welcome diversion to Tex Mex. – In Short Casual Californian decor fits in well with the corporate types, families and couples that enjoy chimichangas, with a contemporary twist. Start with some mango shrimp and continue with huevos rancheros or Mexican salad with lime dressing. OMG!! - Fabulous and Fresh..NOT TEX-MEX...INCREDIBLE FOOD! – Incredible food, delicious and gorgeous presentation! Lots of mexican seafood items!! Beautiful restaurant...we were so very pleasantly surprised by the upscale quality of food and the beautiful environment of this Cafe. It tastes and feels like California, truly. Thank goodness for Cafe Capsitrano..we'll be back and we're be bringing friends..won't be long before we'll be needing reservations here. Don't forget to try their desserts, we had the most amazing Flan!
