Cozy cafe with a relaxed atmosphere. Had dinner for three, and everyone was very pleased with the choice. For far out-of-towners, like us, the local flavor was enjoyable. Halibut was nicely done, with crispy skin and still moist. Tasty salsa, too. Daughter was shifty about the duck she ordered, but she loved it, especially the cherry sauce. New Orleans crepes were perfect; we just wished we could've sampled all the varieties! It's rare that we can visit D.C., but we left Cafe Bonaparte with good memories. Thanks, Augusto!
