The Cafe Berlin restaurant has successfully modified Germany's traditionally heavy cuisine to delight patrons who enjoy lighter fare. Game is popular here, along with versatile fish and chicken offerings. German classics such as sauerbraten, Wiener schnitzel and spaetzle are also available. Dessert is a tempting treat: homemade confections -- delicious cheesecakes, tortes and custard cakes - have a way of making you forget your diet. Valet service is available during dinner.

After living in Germany for 2.5 years, we were hesitant to try cafe Berlin. Having heard rave reviews from German nationals who have dined here enticed us to give it a try — and cafe Berlin did NOT disappoint!! Authentic German cuisine and a great beer selection made for happy patrons. We will absolutely be going back!
Amazing food, drinks & service!
very nice place! recommend
Delicious authentic German food, beer & wine & fantastic service by our waiter Nicholas last night, Christmas Eve! We will be back.
sausage, pretzels, cheesy spaetzel, beer
Authentic German food done well. Thoroughly enjoyed and reminded me of my Mom’s Sauerbraten and katuffelglhaze (poor spelling) but still delicious. My only regret is no apple strudel.
Just moved to DC after living in Germany for 3 years. This is a close as you can get to the real thing without going to Germany. Great food and great beer served in an authentic German atmosphere.
I ate lunch at your restaurant today and my waiter mispronounced something on the menu. He laughed and said it was like he had dyslexia misreading things. If your waiter has dyslexia, that’s fine. I got the impression he was cracking a joke though. As a member of the disability community I can tell you that cracking jokes about disabilities is rude and just plain annoying. Please teach your employees how to respect people with disabilities. Thanks.
The food was excellent and the beer was great as always. And added treat was a band playing German music for Octoberfest.
