I have fond memories of lunching and shopping at Batar with my Mother. So when I was looking for a venue for her Celebration of Life,I looked no further than the beautiful new Muscatatuck Hall at Batar. We had family and friends from coast to coast with many points in between and all were impressed with its natural beauty. I'm glad the weather held so we could get family photos in the lovely gardens. My husband and I love to use BATAR as our escape from reality. It is a special place and even though we live in Bedford, we have no problem running over to have a nice lunch when we need a break from our busy retirement life, now. :) The food, especially the quiche and the soup of the day are my favorites. The people are fantastic. We love talking to everyone there. We love to walk through the garden and take in the whole magical getaway experience! There is no place like BATAR. Jim & Teresa Whitt <3
