We were on vacation and decided to try Cactus Jacks for dinner, we had Steph as our server and she was so awesome! She was so great we waited until she was working and went back for dinner again, she was on as a manager and took the time to come talk to us multiple times. We even asked her to sit with us at our table for a minute and had a discussion about our trip (and showed her our engagement video from the night before)! Visiting family in VA BEACH and wanted some mexican. The food did not dissapoint! However the waitress we had, Ashley, left a lot to be desired. She wasn't upbeat, friendly or personable. However the waitress next to us I could hear giving recommendations and actually talking with her customers. If they could have all staff like that it would be great. Food was truly exceptional but a little pricey. $78 before tip for three adults and one child. Still, great food!!

Came in on a Saturday night with a party of 8 (4 adults 4 kids) I called ahead to see if we could make reservations but they were very nice and said they would put out name at the top of the list when we arrived...only took about 15 minutes for them to have the table ready and they kept us updated the whole time and we saw they were pretty busy...drinks came fast we ordered Cactus Punch and it was delicious! I've always had a great experience at Cactus Jacks' ! Cool ambiance, good drinks and good food.
My boyfriend has taken me on a vacation for my birthday to Virgina Beach. As we walked all around the area we came across Cactus Jacks. We were in the mood for socializing and good atmosphere when we walked through the door. The bar keep was not friendly, social or even cordial. As he and his co workers socialized together it was evident they did not need or want our business. Not a place we will return to nor recommend.
This is the best place I have ever eaten. Great food, great service and pet friendly. I will always come back whenever I am at the beach
Just ask for Gray and you will be treated great! Ate there twice and very happy.
