We happened on this BBQ place after The Lavender Festival was a bust. We all ate different dishes and WOW was it delicious. One had ribs and brisket, one had pulled pork sandwich and I had the pulled chicken sandwich. Our sides were sweet corn, baked beans, potato salad and OMG jalapeno cornbread casserole. All meats were tender and flavorful, each side dish was full of yummy flavors and each table had a variety of bbq sauces. Hey y'all!!! If you get through Sherman Texas and love good BBQ.... you HAVE to go to the CACKLE & OINK BBQ! The sliced brisket is to die for, the chopped beef samwich is very awesome, and oh the TEXAS GUMBO is the BOMB !!! And the mustard bbq sauce. ..mmm mmm...you will wanna take some gone with ya! ! We will definitely be back next time we are in Sherman! !
Great staff, delicious food. We were just there last Tuesday, driving on the way home to Ocala, Florida. Had been on the road for a month, celebrating our 50th anniversary, and can honestly say Cackle and Oink was truly a highlight. We got a pint of Wildman, and I made a big pot of delicious que with this fantastic sauce.
This was my second time there. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. I had to take it to go and I savored every rib going down the road. The sides were amazing!!!!
I was having lunch with my HAWT SEXY baby and the food was great. Aaron was a very nice guy that made sure we were happy with everything
