I visited my brother in Sherman, TX and found myself visiting this place 5 times in 4 days. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was top notch. I was on a BBQ hunt and I struggled to find reason to try other joints.
I wish there was a bigger star rating .... 10 STARS and two thumbs up - I have been coming here for years, and am ALWAYS impressed with the consistently great food, the hospitality, the quality and for sure the quantity - I normally leave with a to go box .... For the best Bar-B-Q around, Cackle & Oink BBQ is where it's at !!!!
Omg omg!!!!!!!! My husband and I absolutely love the bbq. He gets the chopped and I get sliced brisket. The food is always amazing. And the new chicken and dumplings... ���
Place is awesome. Owners are down to earth people too. Overall friendly, and great food.
Heading to San Antonio from Chicago (since ‘16) we have made it a point to stop at Cackle and Oink. Having eaten barbecue from across the country, C+O’s ribs are by far my favorite. A perfectly sweet and sticky bark on the outside, fall-off-the bone, smoky meat inside. They are worth the 12 hour drive alone. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and the food is World-class. Good luck finding better ribs anywhere else.
