Heading to San Antonio from Chicago (since ‘16) we have made it a point to stop at Cackle and Oink. Having eaten barbecue from across the country, C+O’s ribs are by far my favorite. A perfectly sweet and sticky bark on the outside, fall-off-the bone, smoky meat inside. They are worth the 12 hour drive alone. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and the food is World-class. Good luck finding better ribs anywhere else.

Seriously the best BBQ I've ever had in my entire life and I've lived in Texas my whole life. I had the ribs and they were fall off the bone amazing. I also had the baked beans and cornbread casserole. All of it was so incredibly delicious. I'll never eat bbq anywhere else again.
Absolutely THE BEST!!! Great ribs, pulled pork, brisket, turkey, and don’t forget the amazing chili and delicious sides. AND great, friendly service. You will not leave hungry.
