We booked Absolute Heaven 1/6-1/9 for a birthday getaway. While driving there 1/6 - 2 hours into our trip we get a text message saying out unit doesn't have power. We call customer service who says that the unit has been without power since 1/2 and she did not think it would be fixed during our stay with more inclimate weather expected to hit. We turn around and drive home. This is where they went wrong. They are trying to say that we don't get a refund or credit. IM SORRY A UNIT WITH NO POWER IS NOT A VACATION. I payed 1818... read more

I received a receipt for a membership fee of $14.99. I haven't used cabins for you since Memorial Day. We enjoyed our trip. However, I did not realize there would be a membership fee. I feel this may have been hidden in one of the forms I signed to rent the cabin. It seems unnecessary to have a membership fee and I would likely not have used them if I realized this was included as I had planned on it being a 1 time trip. Do not make the mistake of renting from this company! I reserved a cabin months in advance and was informed three days before our arrival date there was issues with the cabin and our reservation had to be canceled, I asked why and was told there was an issue with one of the bedrooms and the fire marshal wouldn’t allow them to rent it, I asked if they had anything else available she said only a two bedroom or I could keep the cabin and not use the bedroom !! We stayed at Snails Pace this was our 2nd time there we absolutely love this cabin ! Its perfectly stocked kitchen makes cooking a breeze. The view is absolutely AMAZING can't wait till were there again

We really enjoyed our stay at the Oakmont Lodge. The condo was everything it advertised. However, we were accessed what I consider hidden fees as the reservation is set to sign you up for a membership fee that you probably won't notice. You have "uncheck" the box accepting it or you will be charged a monthly fee. When I called several times to find out what the fee was for, no one answered. I went to the cabin and found no issues at all. Everything was just as stated in the information. My granddaughters enjoyed the hot tub in the evening along with s’mores. The only thing I would have liked is the king bed on the first floor as I am older and did not do the stairs. Other then that it was cozy and enjoyable.

Me and my boyfriend rented the “honey bear heaven” and it was all messed up from the moment we arrived. We first couldn’t find our cabin because there were people on the front porch so we assumed it was taken. Well after like 30 minutes driving up and down a tiny mountain road we sat there trying to figure out what was happening since our cabin was nowhere to be found. Rented a cabin with a private pool in April 2021. It was filthy, very poorly maintained, and customer service will only make excuses and stall repairs until you leave. This company is an absolute scam. If you’re looking for a reputable cabin rental company...this definitely isn’t it.

RENTERS BEWARE: First off, this company has been charging me $15 per month for some kind of membership fee that they had hidden in their rental agreement. When we called to cancel, they said it would be $149 to cancel. While at the cabin we had an issue with the hot tub. I called, texted and emailed. No response. They did email me back but I didn't get the email to after we got back home. No customer service and they scammed me for more money. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
