We were staying with Cabin Fever in a charming mountain cabin during the Gatlinburg fires. We were having a wonderful time in the area when firestorms occurred. Cabin Fever’s care and concern for our safety and evacuation was excellent in the most difficult of times. Most of the areas top attractions are open after the fires. I highly recommend a vacation in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, staying with Cabin Fever Vacations!
Booked a cabin for the week after Christmas and decided not to go due to the wildfires and devastation in the area. They refuse to refund our deposit and have no consideration for not wanting to spend a vacation in a devastated area. Definitely not going to re-book through them if we ever decide to go in that area ! I will let the BBB know about this also.
A few years ago we were to check in in a Friday and when we got there we were told our cabin had been sold and they had nothing to rent us. You mean to tell me that they didn't even know it was for sale. Very poor business. We did get our money back but it took them 7 days to return it
Stayed in Close to Heaven and the name speaks for itself :-)
