I would not recommend working with C&C Associates for property management. (Cynthia Sells) During my experience, there were significant issues with rent collection and communication. Multiple rent payments were either delayed, not properly accounted for, or not remitted to me as the owner. I worked with Cindy as my property manager for about 5 years. Initially, the experience was good — things ran fairly smoothly, communication was decent, and rents came in on time. Cynthia at C&C Associates has been our Property Manager for the past three years. In December 2024 our tenants got behind on rent and we agreed to allow them to stay with a plan to become current. The tenant diligently followed their catch up plan but Cynthia led us to believe they were still behind on rent while keeping the money for herself. They placed a sub-par renter in my home without doing the due diligence and verifying information costing me thousands of dollars. Apparently, pulled credit on someone who is currently being evicted from another property and still placed them in my home. They were unprofessional, rude, stubborn, resisted requests to comply due to needing to evict tenants and deducted $495 from a tenants security deposit for cancellation fee, knowing full well that the tenants deposit cannot be used for things of that nature. Don't ever rent any property from this company, we were loyal renters, never late on rent in 3 years...we had several issues they didn't fix, the biggest being a leaky roof for the entire 3 years we lived there...we renewed our lease this past June of 2018 & called the board of health on their company due to their neglect.
