Dr Kumar was fantastic in diagnosing my cervical spine injury. He explained my options, including surgery, which I elected to proceed with. I am 3 months post-op and am amazed with the results. I have my life back, free of pain, and couldn’t be more thankful for his care. Thanks Dr Kumar!

He is very thorough
I do not like to write negative reviews but I felt like I was interrupting his day. He may be an awesome neurosurgeon, but it seemed like he was annoyed with me, because I did not have an updated MRI. If I asked any questions that were not important to what he thought, we should focus on, he was abrupt and irritated. I get medicine and surgery is a science but I have been a nurse for 35 years and a little patience and compassion goes a long way. There was no warmth or interest from this doctor. Dr. Menendez is a great neurosurgeon. He was kind and patient with all the questions & concerns regarding procedure. He performed an ACDF, and no complications from surgery.
It is nearly impossible to get through to his office staff. Did not get a good surgery. Can barely walk 4 months later. No opportunity for a follow-up appointment to discuss pain and lack of progress. Desiring to consult with another doctor, his staff has made it an obstacle course to even get medical records transferred. At present, left disabled with little recourse. If you want constant frustration with Dr. Willis and staff and sub par results, by all means… he’s your guy!
Have had the pleasure of being treated by Dr Kumar for 6 years now, he is always informative and positive! His honesty is appreciated.
