My children have been patients of Dr. Nikki for 7 years and they love going to the office. Staff is always so great and we love the pups too! My daughter was very nervous and I was worried not being in the room for treatment but I feel she did much better not being in the room compared to how she was for her cleaning and x-rays.
My daughter has gone here since she as 10mo old! They have therapy puppies here and it is so welcoming for the kids. My daughter is now 13 years old and I have recommended countless friends and family members to see Dr. Nikki. WE LOVE HER
Was told by Dr Nikki that my 11 yr old had two cavities on biting surface of back permanent molars, under sealants applied by previous dentist. Said one was probably minor but they wouldn’t know til they got under the sealant. Said the other wrapped around to the inside of the tooth. When I brought her in for the appt, they wouldn’t let me in the room. I pressed and they said it was office policy because kids do better without parents. My son had severe dental anxiety and needed a lot of treatment done. We got our second opinion with Dr. Byrne, and what a game changer for him!!! He came in crying and scared, and she was able to talk to him and offer us a solution that allowed him to relax and she was able to get his treatment done in one visit. I wouldn’t recommend anyone taking their child to this place.
We really loved our experience, but unfortunately it all changed once my child needed 4 cavities filled. We went in for a check up and next thing I knew they were explaining she had cavities and it would be best due to her "temperament" that I should sedate her for the work. My daughter (5 yeas old) did cry ate the appointment, but ONLY because the person who took the x-rays tripped on the cord and it yanked out of her mouth. She said son had cavities. Had our (not pediatric) dentist and then another pediatric dentist check his teeth prior to procedure. No cavities! We never went back for the procedure and switched him to our (non-pediatric) dentist. He was 5 when she found the "cavities." He never developed any cavities in any of his teeth and he is 15 now. Get a second opinion before you allow her to work on your child's mouth.
Amazing office from the front desk service all the way through to the dental check up with the Dr. Nikki. Everything is done in a thorough manner and explained to the patient and parents every step of the way. A professional environment with a kid at heart mentality this is the perfect environment to bring your children for dental care. The therapy dogs are the best and are kind and amazing with all the children.
Our 3 year old daughter has bee going to Dr. Nikki every 6 mos since she was 6 mos old. All Of the staff are great with her. Our daughter is excited to go to Dr. Nikki’s office!
