The By-Pass Auto Body company had a humble beginning in 1970 as Ron Bitschenauer began fixing cars in the garage at his home. After a few years, Ron took his love of cars and automotive knowledge and decided to expand his repair business outside the family garage. He launched his collision repair center in 1971 out of the old Capital Trade School on Bypass 66. Very excellent service by their towing service. My car had died and even with a jump couldn't start. My insurance contacted By Pass and they were out there in a short amount of time. The driver, I can't remember his name at the moment, was extremely nice and professional. Was more than willing to go the extra mile for me, and gave some excellent advice about what was going on with my car. By Pass is definitely the way to go. Good, honest people who do right by their customers. I will recommend this place to everyone.
